How the audio works

Two audio paths, on purpose

A video call compresses audio hard enough to hide exactly the things a mixing session is about — the subtle EQ move, the compression that isn't obvious until you A/B it. So this uses two separate paths instead of one:

The broadcast

The room itself streams over IndieSessions' broadcast infrastructure — this is what every subscriber watching sees and hears: Thomas's screen, his voice, the session as it unfolds.

Audiomovers LISTENTO

For anyone Thomas is actively mixing with — a remote collaborator he's working the song with live — LISTENTO carries the actual studio-fidelity audio straight from his DAW, with none of the compression a normal stream adds.
